Changing Places owners are all Certified Seniors Advisors (CSAs). Each of us has experience working with the elderly, and we approach even the smallest of their concerns with sensitivity and attention.

Jane Dewing

Principle owner Jane Dewing’s success as a moving consultant incorporates organizational skills gained in over twenty-five years of work as a nurse, and as an Executive Director of  the Cool-Aid Society, a large social service agency in Victoria BC. Through this experience, Jane understands the importance of creating a sense of home and community to ensure a person’s health and well-being.

Jane loves to help seniors adjust easily to their new homes. Her ability to help with the smallest detail reflects her sensitivity and concern for people.

John Verster

John Verster has moved at least 25 times in his life and has a thorough understanding of the stresses and logistics involved. One of John’s more recent moves was from Johannesburg , South Africa to British Columbia in 2006. John brings to Changing Places Vancouver 12 years of experience in the conference and exhibition industry, where he was constantly erecting and dismantling exhibition stands. He was personally responsible for ensuring these projects were completed on time, on budget and to the utmost satisfaction of the client.

John is a visual artist with a creative flair. One of his strengths is the ability to conceptualize, arrange and create pleasant and functional living spaces.

John loves to help seniors adjust easily to their new homes with care and understanding of their required needs.
